Moving in this week

The building tin is on hold right now – we have the store room all ready so we can move the garage items into it. But the electrical is prepped and the lights are ordered so in no time it will be done.

We can’t wait to get out of our rental. Our dogs are more and more confined because we have new neighbors nearby who we don’t know – new renters.

So Sammy is in danger since she likes to run up to new people and say hello by sitting on their feet. In reality, it’s a 93 lb black dog charging someone. Hard to stop but at the new place this will not be a problem. Also it’s super hot, so the ample shade will be nice at the new place.

This week is dog fence week, Clay is setting that up for the dogs while I am in Wisconsin on a sales trip.

We put up new light fixtures in the his and hers closets of the house – Clay picked out a manly one from Ikea and that was fun to install. I picked out an Allen-Roth and that was a lot easier to install. The old light fixtures can be re-used in the barn – they are not really safe for in a house. (also – gross looking)

Also put up towel bars, towel rings, basic stuff – these were not there at all and I never even noticed. Satin nickel color for those in each bathroom.
